Mr Linskaill is an energy lawyer with over 25 years of international oil-field experience. Mr Linskaill is a partner level consultant with the Firm.
Firstly, pursuing a technical and commercial path, Mr Linskaill held senior managerial positions with a global energy company in a successful career spanning over two decades. He then trained as a lawyer with a specialist oil and gas firm in the United Kingdom and now manages a boutique law firm specialising in energy law.
Drawing on his unique expertise and knowledge of both the legal and technical aspects of the energy space, Mr Linskaill assists clients on all aspects of the business: country entry, regulatory and legal frameworks, opportunity risk analysis, joint-ventures, financial structures, commercial negotiations, contractual issues, and dispute resolution.
Having worked in a variety of countries, including Oman, Mr Linskaill is familiar with oil and gas jurisdictions worldwide, assisting clients in Europe, the Middle East, South America, Africa, and Oceania.
Mr Linskaill also has experience in respect of the energy transition, notably providing regulatory and commercial insight on the geothermal energy sector in the Netherlands.
