Ms Hayat is the Head of Litigation at the Firm. Ms Hayat did her L.L.B (hons) form University of London in the year 2012, after which she went on to pursue Bar Professional Training Course from the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales in the year 2014.
As the head of litigation, Ms Hayat has advised and represented many clients including multinational companies, listed companies and government entities/departments. She is the legal counsel for State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan, Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited, Punjab Mineral Development Corporation and Lahore Electric Supply Company.

Ms Hayat was appointed by the Honorable Lahore High Court as member of the working committee for drafting the legislation on the rights of differently abled individuals which led to the promulgation of provincial law for empowerment of persons with disabilities. She has also provided expert opinion in The Supreme Court of British Columbia, Canada to be used in the court proceedings regarding custody and guardianship of minor children.

Ms Hayat has 16 reported judgements to her credit published in various legal journals.

Ms Hayat also works as the editor for Pakistan’s first leading multi-dimensional law and justice initiative, Courting the Law.
